Fashion brands are ‘cautiously optimistic’ about the Supreme Court striking down many of Trump’s tariffs

On Friday, the Supreme Court dealt a significant blow to the administration's efforts to enact sweeping tariffs on imports from nearly every country in the world. The Court's 6-3 ruling found that tariffs enacted under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which covers many but not all of the tariffs, were unlawful and that the president exceeded his authority.
